The Privacy, Internetworking, Security, and Mobile Systems (PRISMS) Lab conducts research on network protocols, applications, and services that support security, mobility, privacy, and group communication. Our research is concerned with: the challenges of supporting enormous numbers of peers or devices, the unique opportunities of mobile and ubiquitous computing, and providing security and privacy in the presence of continued network and Internet threats.The group is co-led by professors Mark Corner, Kevin Fu, Brian Levine, and Gerome Miklau. PRISMS is home to about 15 graduate students and many undergraduates.
We also run the UMass Academics and Research in Information Assurance (ARIA) program.
